Q. We're about to move into a new place and I've decided to decorated my husband's bathroom a black and white look. I just bought a vinyl shower curtain that's a soft white and has blocked black and gray boxes on it. It's really nice and trendy. But I don't know if I should go with black rugs and red bathroom accessories or just black rugs and accessories. I would like a touch of red in the bathroom but I don't know where to add it. I know how to decorate when I already have the items but I don't know how to pull different colors together to create a dramatic effect. Any advice would be appreciated it!!!

A. Most of the decorations are for the owner's benefit more than the fish's. They'll tear up live plants - they may eat them as well. No matter what I put in the tank, mine have always seemed to like entertaining themselves by mouthing the gravel more than anything I added! Just be careful that whatever you add, there are no sharp edges or rough spots. They like to "mouth" objects and will run into/against them when they get moving around at a good pace.

My previous little fish I had died from an illness, but I do not want that to happen to again.. What accessories will make an apartment look more stylish?
Q. my apartment is tiny, 700 square feet, we have a black leather couch, glass dining room table with modern black metal chairs, the dining room and living room pretty much are fused together, what accessories can i use to make it looks more stylish and not just bla

A. Here are all sorts of good ideas for your space. Hope you like... --if you've got a TJ Maxx HomeGoods store, that is an excellent place to find nice pieces as well as Target, Walmart & Sears...it may even be usefull to try some second hand stores like Goodwill, Salvation Army or chic vintage shops.
